I’m trying to do some new and creative things this Lent in our congregation to facilitate spiritual development. With that in mind, I have made arrangements to add a chat room to our website and am planning an online discussion “class” on Tuesdays in Lent at 10:00 p.m. on Spiritual Practices. We are doing a marketing push in the neighborhood to promote our Lenten activities and I’m hoping that this might appeal to some of the overworked professional folks in the neighborhood.
No, it’s not the same as a face to face gathering (my preference), but it is an entry space and we’ll see what happens.
