Thanks be to God for:
- The energy of girls that both keeps me young and makes me old.
- A wife that puts up with my moodiness and depression and doesn’t give up on me.
- A church that let’s me be human.
- Wifi
- Green bean casserole
- “Emerging” friends all over the world who challenge me and help me to grow.
- Overstuffed sofas
- Small signs of peace in a warring world.
- The music of Jonatha Brooke
- Having a couple of days off with family and friends to regroup.
- Handmade pottery
- The witness of the communion of the saints which left us a legacy to live in the world.
- Comfortable jeans and well worn tennis shoes
- Parents who are in pretty good health and aren’t too crazy (love you guys…)
- Greasy cheeseburgers
- Happy people (even when they get on my nerves).
- Hot showers
- Negro Modelo
- Smoked turkey from the Hillcrest United Methodist Church Men’s group
- All the folks who have nothing better to do that read my ramblings.
