my point is this: maybe in our rush to be all things cool and new, we are missing some very old ways to uncover christ in our midst, and i include myself here. maybe in our desire to be on the cutting edge, we are missing some cutting edge ways to see the truth of god’s presence emerge in the most ordinary people we know.
